At SACC we offer a free Information, Advice and Guidance service to all learners and the local community. The IAG team offers support at all our sites as well as various community venues, Job Centres and even local shopping malls in Southend.
Our experienced Careers IAG Advisers are fully qualified (up to Level 6) in providing expert and impartial advice and guidance. Simply book a confidential one-to-one appointment with us to look at all your learning and career progression options, including:

At a typical IAG session with the support of an advisor you create a personalised careers action plan, intended to motivate and support you in your journey to a dream career. Ongoing support is available throughout the various stages of career planning and decision making.
Our IAG Team utilises current labour market information so that the information you receive is as up to date as possible. The Team are Matrix accredited and are committed to working towards achieving the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks of good careers guidance and the Quality in Careers Standard Award.
The IAG Team are dedicated to provide the best possible outcome for you and are currently working in partnership and have excellent links with local employers, training providers, other schools, colleges and universities, and regularly arrange external events and advice sessions in and around the Southend area.
