Thank you for visiting our website and welcome to Southend Adult Community College, the home of learning where we help everyone to achieve their full potential.
As you flick through the pages of our website you will find lots of courses to help you develop a new skill, improve your job opportunities, explore your creativity and have fun along the way.
We are a true community college and have learners from all walks of life studying everything from jewellery making and learning foreign languages, to sewing classes and sculpture/pottery courses. We can line you up with a series of online learning sessions and professional qualifications to help you get ahead in your career or to study at university level in the future. We offer English as a second language and a range of other specialist courses to refugees and asylum seekers. We have a dedicated campus for adults with special educational needs and disabilities and we also offer Study Programmes to vulnerable 16-19-year olds. We teach many adults to upskill their Maths & English and we help speakers of other languages into local employment or further education.
We have three well-resourced sites in Westcliff, Belfairs and at our main campus in Southchurch. Everyone is welcome and the staff make sure this is a safe place to learn with others.
