We offer a wide variety of Languages and Communication courses whether learning for personal development or to enhance your employability. We offer a wide range of language courses suitable for all abilities in French, German, Italian, Russian, Latin and Spanish.
All students with special educational needs, whether physical, intellectual, social or emotional, are, wherever possible, fully integrated into our College community and have access to appropriate educational provision to allow them to experience a broad and balanced curriculum.
At SACC our short courses offer those with few or no formal qualifications, an opportunity to return to study in a safe, supportive and manageable way. You can choose to study short courses for a variety of reasons: for personal interest and development; to improve your skills or to take the first steps back into education. Our short courses and taster sessions are in a variety of subjects and can be FREE. Our short course programmes are flexible, varied and run throughout the year.
We have a variety of courses to help you into work or change career. From ESOL to improve your English, Maths and ICT to GCSE qualifications. Skills for Life courses are designed to aid progression and access into mainstream education and employment paths where English language skills are a requirement. These courses are for adults aged 18 and over living in the UK who need English language skills for everyday life, for study and for employment.
Skills for Work courses have been developed to improve your knowledge and skills in preparation for progression onto further study, training or directly into employment. Gaining first-hand experience working with industry sector expert tutors in a relaxed learning environment will further develop your confidence and support your career progression.
At Southend Adult Community College we work with a wide range of organisations from the commercial, public and charity sectors.
