How to get to the college:

Train

The college is a two minute walk from Southend East rail station where modern trains run every ten to fifteen minutes towards Southend Central, Westcliff, Chalkwell, Leigh-on-Sea, Benfleet, Pitsea, Basildon and further afield onto Upminster, Barking, West Ham and London Fenchurch Street.
Southend Victoria is also within walking distance and trains on this line call at Prittlewell, Rochford, Hockley, Rayleigh, Wickford, Billericay, Shenfield and onto Romford, Ilford, Stratford and London Liverpool Street. This service is every 15 minutes in the day, or twice an hour in the evenings.

Bus

Bus stops for the college are located on Woodgrange Drive or Southchurch Road, both of which are within five minutes walk of the college.

Cycling

The college actively promotes cycling and there are covered and secure cycling stands within the college grounds. Lookers can also be provided to store your cycling gear in whilst at college.

Car Sharing

The college is keen to promote car sharing as a way of travelling to and from the site, especially as many learners come from a relatively small, and local, catchment area.

How to get to the college:

Train

The College is a twenty-five minute walk from Leigh Station. Heading right from the station up Belton Way (East), turn right to Marine Parade, then left to Hadleigh Road and head to the top of the road. Cross over the London Road when you reach it, then down Herschell Road (opposite) for a few minutes. The centre is located at the front of Belfairs High School, on the right.
Modern trains run every twenty minutes towards Shoeburyness, stopping at Chalkwell, Westcliff, Southend Central, Southend East, and Thorpe Bay; and towards London Fenchurch Street stopping at Benfleet, Pitsea, Basildon, Laindon, West Horndon and further afield onto Upminster, Barking and West Ham.

Bus

Bus stops for the college are located on the London Road, less than a minute from Belfairs High School where the centre is situated. Buses which stop local to this area include bus numbers: 2, 21, 21a, 21b, 26, 26a, 27.

Car Park

During the day SACC have 35 designated parking spaces at the Belfairs High School, however in the evening, there is unlimited parking available within the school’s main car park. Please allow sufficient time before your class to find an appropriate parking space.

The Westcliff Centre is closest to Prittlewell Station on the Greater Anglia, Shenfield to Southend Line. The site is a 20 minutes walk from the station.
