Level 2 Award in Supporting Individuals with Disabilities and Additional Needs

This accredited course is designed for adults aged 19+ who are working in, or aspiring to work in, roles that support individuals with disabilities and additional needs. It’s also ideal for anyone with a personal or professional interest in understanding a range of conditions and how to support inclusion.

You’ll study a variety of informative and practical units, including:

  • Understanding learning disabilities

  • Dementia awareness

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Physical disabilities and how to support individuals effectively

Delivered in the evening to suit those with work or daytime commitments, this course offers a welcoming and inclusive learning environment with opportunities for discussion and shared experiences.

This course provides valuable insight and skills to support individuals confidently and compassionately across a wide range of settings.

  • Start date: From September onwards

  • Cost:

    • Free if you earn below £25,750 per year (funding available)

    • £528 if not eligible for funding – payment plans available to help spread the cost
