Southend Adult Community College (SACC) is Southend-on-Sea City Council’s provider of education and training for young people (16–19), adults aged 19+, and learners with SEND. Each year, we support over 2,000 learners through inclusive, high-quality programmes that build skills, boost confidence, and support progression into further learning, work, or independent living.
From part-time Community Learning courses that support wellbeing and personal growth, to Family Learning and Community Outreach across the borough, we make learning accessible and relevant to people at every stage of life.
We offer a wide range of accredited courses, including English, maths, digital skills (ICT), ESOL, employability, and industry-recognised vocational qualifications. For young people aged 16+, our full-time Pathways Programme provides hands-on, career-focused learning.

Our learners take part in multiple practical sessions every week, building skills, confidence, and teamwork in a professional environment 🙌 They also get hands-on experience across a range of sports, using different facilities as part of their course.
