English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Build confidence, improve your English, and feel more at home in the UK.

Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses are designed to support adults who want to improve their English for everyday life, work, or further study. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already using some English, we have a course to suit your level.

You’ll learn how to speak, listen, read, and write in English, covering real-life topics such as shopping, work, travel, health, and using public services. Classes are friendly and supportive, taught by experienced tutors who understand the needs of learners with different levels of English. You’ll build your vocabulary, grammar, confidence and communication skills in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

We offer ESOL courses from New to ESOL through to Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3, as well as Level 1 and Level 2 for more advanced learners. We also offer IELTS preparation for those needing to take the IELTS exam for work, study or visa purposes.

If you need help with technology, we offer Digital Skills for ESOL Beginners and Improvers, with step-by-step support to help you use devices, send emails, access online services and stay safe online—all explained clearly with language support.

For young people aged 16–19, we run Study Programme ESOL courses to support learning, life skills, and future pathways in the UK.
