Southend Adult Community College (SACC) is celebrating after the Skills Funding Agency announced its successful application on to the new Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP)  https://roatp.apprenticeships.sfa.bis.gov.uk/download.

Claire Gavaghan, Vice-Principal said “We are thrilled to be included on the new register. The College is now an approved provider able to deliver Apprenticeship training to levy paying employers. The Register means that employers will know they are working with a quality provider and that they can have complete confidence in the Apprenticeship training we will provide them.

“As an Ofsted graded good college with outstanding features, SACC can provide businesses with advice and guidance to support them setting up their apprenticeship training and the introduction of the new Apprenticeship Levy".

The application process focused strongly on SACC’s ability to deliver high quality apprenticeships and training, financial health, eligibility to receive public funding and Ofsted results.

SACC with centres in Ambleside Drive, Southend and Belfairs Academy, Highlands Boulevard, Leigh, offers a wide range of Intermediate, Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships in Accountancy, Business Administration, Catering, Childcare, Customer Service, Facilities Services, Hospitality and Teaching Assistants.

Apprenticeships are a great way for learners to earn while they learn and not incur expensive student loans and can support businesses to upskill their existing staff and recruit new talent into an organisation.
