It takes a special kind of person to work in Health and Social Care. You must be kind and care about others, have a good sense of humour, enjoy working with people and want to make their lives happier and healthier. If that sounds like you, then this apprenticeship could be perfect.  

You will be based in the workplace and visited by your Assessor to gather evidence for your qualifications. You must have at least 20% of your working week spent on 'off the job training' usually at college for 1 day per week. Apprenticeships are a great way to earn while you learn!

The intermediate apprenticeship usually lasts for 16 months.

Advanced Health and Social Care

This framework includes

The advanced apprenticeship usually lasts 18 months.
