Apprenticeship Levy Large employer, wage bill more than £3m

If your annual wage bill is over £3,000,000, you will receive a £15,000 allowance from the government per year, as well as a monthly top-up. 

For an annual wage of £10,000,000, 0.5% of this bill is taken as part of the levy which amounts to £50,000. The government allowance of £15,000 is subtracted from this amount which will equate to the total annual levy payment of £35,000.
